The Do's & Don'ts
How to prepare for your session and care for your skin afterward.
No sun, tanning beds, or self-tanner before treatment.
Do not wax, pluck, or thread for at least 4 weeks before.
Shave the area 24 hours before the appointment.
Come with clean skin — no lotion, deodorant, oils, makeup, or perfume on the area.
Tell the provider about medications, especially antibiotics, Accutane/isotretinoin, retinoids, or anything that makes skin sun-sensitive.
Do not treat irritated, burned, recently tanned, or broken skin.
No sun or tanning on the treated area; use SPF 30+ if exposed.
No hot showers, sauna, steam room, or heavy sweating for 24–48 hours.
Do not scrub, exfoliate, or use retinol/acids for a few days.
Use gentle moisturizer or aloe if the area feels hot or irritated.
Do not wax, pluck, or thread between sessions — shaving is okay.
Do not pick, scratch, or aggressively rub the treated area.

Because a true laser is more precise and targeted, many clients find it offers more consistent results, though results may vary from person to person. Is laser hair removal permanent?
It's best described as permanent hair reduction. Most clients see a major, long-term drop in hair growth, though some fine or lighter regrowth can return over time — especially with hormonal changes — so occasional maintenance may be recommended.
